i’ve always been the kind of person who picks things up:

  • a strange fact about octopus behavior
  • a photograph from 1987 that raises questions
  • a handwritten note someone left behind in a used book
  • a sentence that rewires how you think about something ordinary

for years these lived in screenshots, browser tabs, half-written notes, and the accumulating clutter of a brain that finds everything interesting.

this cabinet is where they will live now, sorted and shared.

there’s something specific about curating a collection: it forces you to decide what matters. it asks you to articulate why something caught your eye. it turns private fascination into something you can actually show someone else. and maybe (this is the hopeful part) it turns out that the things you find curious, other people find curious too. i’m trying to find my people.

this isn’t a research project or a thinkpiece engine. it’s closer to inviting someone into a room full of oddities and saying, “look at this.”

some posts will be quick observations. some will have a bit more story. all of them are here because they genuinely interested me, and i think they might interest you.

so, welcome! look around. let me know what catches your eye, and enjoy.
