this piece is a process of reclaiming—taking the commercial geometry of an ad and submerging it in something raw and unrepeatable. there is a tension in the way the ink pools around the outline, a reminder of how heavily women’s bodies are monetized and “pressed” into specific shapes. it’s about the weight of that saturation, and the quiet struggle to find a silhouette that isn’t already owned by a brand.
